My tour to Stonehenge wasn’t slated to leave until after lunch, so I spent the morning taking a free walking tour of the city. This was yet another informative city tour that I enjoyed. The tour guide had a lot of information and I enjoyed it even though I had seen most of the places the previous day as I walked around the city. The tour to Stonehenge took up the afternoon. Stonehenge was a bit underwhelming. I didn’t expect too much from the place and was not disappointed. It was quite interesting to imagine how things had been when it was built and I was glad I did the trip. We then went to Lacock which is owned by the National Trust and where a number of period films are filmed. This is because the city keeps itself looking like it did historically. All electrical and cable wires are buried so that they do not show. This is quite the quant little town that I wouldn’t have minded spending more time at.
