Sunday we woke up with hangovers since Jeremy was so kind as to order too many shots for us the night before. We didn’t let a little thing like a hangover slow us down though (except for Jeremy throwing up and needing a nap before we headed out). Since we had passed a few things between Pismo Beach and Santa Barbara that I wanted to see, we started off by backtracking to see a few places. The first stop was Solvang which is a little Dutch town. We walked around and checked out a few of the shops as well as taking part in some of the great pastries that were available. From here it was off to Lompoc, which turned out to be a bit of a waste of gas. There didn’t seem to be much there and we didn’t bother trying to find out if there was anything. Again our adventure south continued. Once more there were some fantastic views to behold along the way. We ended up driving through Malibu and Santa Monica as we entered LA. We stopped in Santa Monica to walk around the pier and stretch our legs a bit. I have a cousin who lives in LA and planned to stay with, so we called him up and he was just finishing dinner, so we met him and his friend for drinks. Jeremy was still hung over, so we decided there wouldn’t be any shots that night. Unfortunately us Novak’s don’t quite understand that as my cousin reminded me. Upon meeting up with my cousin and his friend, we headed to the bar to get a round of drinks where my cousin was kind enough to order a round of tequila shots for us. The rounds of tequila shots and drinks progressed throughout the evening resulting in a couple hefty bar tabs. I’m not sure if it was because of the Patron shots or the fact that we were in Hollywood. Whatever the case, my cousin was sure to show a good time.
